Sorry no updates lately. I left my spot tracker in lost park canyon. I know enough canyoneers that someone will probably go get it for me but for now I can only update when I have cell service, which I amazingly have here 80 miles from the nearest paved road. We are camped in an amazing spot with an awesome view of canyonlands national park all around us.

We did neon canyon yesterday then started the hike to Choprock and did a check of the weather... Hmmm, up to 30% chance of rain. And Choprock has no escapes. We had a hard time deciding what to do since it is my favorite canyon ever but decided we better bail. It didn't rain on us but we could see rain around us in the distance. Better to make sure we stay alive and not do the canyon. It will still be there to come back to. I'm in town now and will sleep in and go to church in the morning before meeting Dave and penny tomorrow evening.

Today was another exploration. We thought the canyon would be really short and end in a big drop. The canyon was short length wise but had something like 11 drops with huge pools and potholes, a couple being keepers. The big drop at the end never came. It was a really great canyon and a lot different than anything else on the trip. Tomorrow we do blasphemy canyon and then its back to land for more exploration canyons. Mom, I will probably come do my laundry on Wednesday if you will be around. PS. I can get emails out here at least until Saturday morning.

Been back for a bit. The Moab trip this year was one of the best ever for sure. Rode the atv's, Jeeped, climbed a super fun .10a on Wall Street, and even climbed (and rappelled on) Elephant Butte, the highest point in Arches National Park. Soooo much fun!

Today we hit up Good Day Jim but didn't bring wetsuits and after hitting quite a bit of water and getting spanked by the first keeper pothole we ended up bailing back to the cars. After that we checked out Kelseys exit from main Sevenmile and then walked around in the canyon before heading back to camp. The weather was awesome, hopefully it stays this good.

Back from Death Valley

Rolled in last night, yesterday we woke up, tore down camp, then did some climbing in Red Rocks near Vegas on the way home. Josh and I got thoroughly worked on this trip due to big days and being lazy this winter, I haven't been sore like this in a long time. Temps were in the 80's and we did some fun stuff. Did one dry canyon, one wet canyon (rappelling down waterfalls is fun), a failed attempt at a peak, and some climbing. I'll post some pictures on my regular blog soon.
